Independent Contractors
LaserShip offers contract work to established Owner Operators with a Legal business structure at any one of our service locations.
The Work - We have opportunities available Monday through Friday and occasionally on weekends. Many of our couriers have 4 to 8 hours of driving and 100 to 200 miles a day.
Being an Independent Contractor - To be a vendor for LaserShip, you must satisfy all of our client's requirements. These vary by region and customer, some of which are:
- Driver must operate a late model vehicle, preferably less than 3 years old. The type of vehicle required will depend on the work you contract.
- Driver must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record with less than two moving violations within the past three years.
- Driver will be subject to a thorough criminal background check.
Compensation - For on-demand services, couriers typically receive a commission of 50% of the billing amount or a negotiated rate based on contract revenue.
